A deep appreciation for the land, faith, and family is at the core of the American Rancher, and this special bandana collection -- inspired by our good friends, the McCartneys of Throckmorton, Texas -- represents just that.
Every once in a while on a summer day, ya get a cool breeze whip across the desert sand. That cool breeze turns to clouds, and clouds turn into a little summer rainshower. Now if you’re lucky enough to experience one of these, just wait… a day or two later you’re going to be in for a show! Yellows, reds, purples, and oranges carpet the desert floor. That’s what we call a desert bloom!
Just before dawn, there’s a sweet and familiar sound rising with the morning breeze. First one bird sings, then another, and soon the whole covey joins in to sing the sun right on up into the sky. Carefully camouflaged to blend in with the prickly pear, cedar scrub, and live oaks, these birds are nearly impossible to spot in the hilly draws of the open country. Suddenly, a flutter of wings erupts from the brush, and just for a brief moment the darting birds are visible in the air. Just as quickly as they appeared, they dive back into the underbrush. Their presence only made known by a song
